Kimberly and Darryl had been trying to get pregnant for about a year without success. Since Darryl had cancer as a child, the couple figured the treatment may have affected his fertility, and they were right. Jen was almost 36 when she met the love of her life. Right after the two married, they began trying for a family – and within two months, Jen was pregnant. Monitoring or “morning monitoring” is a term used for a quick early morning appointment where a patient receives an ultrasound and bloodwork to keep careful track of their hormone levels, follicle count, and general response to fertility treatment. All RMA New Jersey patients get access to RMA’s Artemis Patient Portal, where they can access all of their lab work and test results in real time.

No, you do not need to have your morning monitoring completed at the same office every time. When you schedule your morning monitoring appointment with your care team, let them know which location you would like to have your monitoring completed at.
If you are a patient at another fertility clinic and are traveling, you may schedule your morning monitoring at our RMA Basking Ridge office. Please give our office a call if you wish to schedule outside monitoring.
